1) If you hold visitor visa, we DO NOT accept your visa application. In this case, please apply it in your home country.

2) The visa processing time normally takes 2-3 weeks to be finalized. 

3) When you apply for the visa, your passport should have at least 6 months of validity. 

4) The visa's validity is 3 months. You should enter Korea within 3 months since your visa is issued.

5) It is a single-entry visa which allows you to enter South Korea only once.
6) The Embassy accepts in-person and post application (NO online application avaliable)

1. NZ Resident or NZ Permanent Resident Visa Holders

1) Visa application form (Attached)

2) 1 x passport-sized photograph (1 photo ONLY)

3) Physical Passport 

4) 1 x copy of passport

5) Certified bank statement (3 months) with current balance (click)

- Balance must be at least NZD 3,500 per each applicant staying for seven nights

- Additional proof of balance will be required if you stay more than seven nights. 

- A certified bank statement must be signed or stamped by the bank.

6) Flight itinerary (Round trip)

7) Accommodation booking confirmation

- If you are intending to stay at your friend's place, a letter from the host is required.

- The letter must contain the applicant's full name, length of stay, passport number, host's name, residential address, signature, scanned passport and valid Korean visa or Alien Registration Card.

8) Photocopy of your Resident class visa    

9) Postage included bag

2. NZ Work Visa Holders

Only eligible for applicants who have stayed in New Zealand for a minimum of one year.

1)  Visa application form (Attached)

2)  1 x passport-sized photograph (1 photo ONLY)

4) 1 x copy of passport 

5) Certified bank statement (3 months) with current balance (click)

- Balance must be at least NZD 3,500 per each applicant staying for seven nights

→ It normally takes 2-3 weeks to be finalized (excluding delivery time).

2. How can I submit the application to the Korean Embassy?
